Preview privacy notice
This notice describes how the current Voice Studio experimental preview handles account details, submitted scripts, voice recordings, and generated audio. Full operator and privacy contact details must be added before public launch.
What is processed
We process your name, email address, an authentication record, the scripts and generation settings you submit, voice names, consent confirmation, generation history, and cost usage. Password authentication uses Better Auth. Your voice sample is sent to MiniMax to create the voice clone you request.
Services used to provide the preview
MiniMax processes scripts and voice recordings to perform cloning and speech synthesis. Cloudflare provides the application API, database, generation queue, and audio storage architecture. This development preview can run those Cloudflare services in a local sandbox. Requests may also pass through the development preview tunnel used to reach this sandbox.
Access and authentication
Account access uses a session cookie. The API requires authentication and checks ownership for generated audio and personal voice clones. Generated files are not intentionally published as open audio links. Downloading or sharing a copy outside the studio places that copy outside its access controls.
Retention and deletion
Generated audio has a 30-day retention policy. The preview is not archival storage. You can remove a personal voice clone from the voice library, which asks the provider to delete that clone and removes it from active use. Previously generated audio, usage records, and account history may remain separately until deleted or expired. This interface does not yet provide full account erasure.
Consent and sensitive recordings
Submit only your own voice in this preview. Do not include sensitive personal details in a recording or script unless necessary and appropriate. Voice data may be sensitive under the laws applicable to you. Confirm the preview is suitable for your needs before uploading a recording.
Preview limitations
This experimental preview does not claim certification, a particular data residency, or a contractual privacy arrangement beyond its current terms. Provider handling and retention may differ from this application's file retention. Do not use it for confidential or regulated recordings.
